Boro interested in Sheffield Wednesday defender
Middlesbrough FC are reportedly in the running for Sheffield Wednesday defender Morgan Fox.
According to reports, Boro face competition from promotion chasing West Brom as they look to secure the services of Morgan Fox.
The Welsh defender has developed into a key player for Sheffield Wednesday, despite his initial struggles, after making the move from Charlton Athletic in the 2017 January transfer window.
The 26-year-old is regarded as one of the rising stars in the Championship and has attracted attention from several clubs.
It is understood that the defender is set to be a free agent in the summer and the Owls would find it tough to keep the 26-year-old ahead of next season.
Boro are poised to pounce, with the club viewing Fox as an ideal reinforcement for the defence. Dael Fry has been linked with a big money move away from the club to the Premier League and Fox could be an ideal replacement. The defender is capable of playing in the left-back and centre-back positions.

West Bromwich Albion appear to be the biggest challengers for Boro for the defender, whilst Rangers are also said to be interested.
